Why make the change?
Philmac’s range of 3G® fittings to suit both CTS and IPS-OD pipe are the solution for the perfect connection everytime thanks to Philmac’s unique Slide and Tighten™ technology. Each fitting is pre-assembled and ready to use so there’s no need to disassemble the fittings or use a stiffener. Simply cut the PE pipe square and insert it into the fitting until you feel the first point of resistance and then tighten the nut to the flange.
The compact size makes installation easy in those hard to get at spaces and the fittings are suited to making live connections.
With Philmac’s CTS fittings, just slide and tighten and the job’s done!

Cut, insert and tighten
Installation is fast and easy even in the confined spaces.

Cut the pipe square, there is no need to chamfer or lubricate

Ensure 2 threads are showing and simply slide the pipe in until the point of first resistance is felt
3
Tighten the nut by hand, and then with a wrench to the point where the nut is touching the flange on the body of the fitting. Do not tighten beyond this point.
