CTS

The fitting has been designed to minimize pipe twist as the nut is tightened. Pipe twist can impact on not only the connection you have just made but also on the connection at the other end of the line.

Installation could not be easier. Simply insert the pipe into the fitting until the first point of resistance and then tighten the nut up to the flange of the fitting body. No pipe preparation is needed and no force is required to push the pipe pas the seal. Assembly is so easy you can even do it under live conditions.

Philmac 3G CTS fittings are made for permanent, high-security joints. However, if the need arises, the range allows joints to be re-done. By backing the nut off with a wrench, the pipe can be removed, and the pipe system moved.

Philmac CTS compression fittings are CSA and NSF 61 approved for potable water use.

The size of the Philmac CTS compression fitting has been kept to a minimum, making the fitting ideal to be used in confined areas.

If the nut is loosened there is no danger of losing components, as the collet and seal are retained in the body of the fitting. Losing components in the trench becomes a thing of the past.

There is no need for cumbersome, expensive equipment or access to power. There is also no need to prepare the pipe in any way. Simply cut the pipe square and then slide it into the fitting. The only tool required is a standard wrench to tighten the nut.

3G CTS Series fittings are made for advanced, lightweight thermoplastics to provide a 50 year in service lifetime at standard operating conditions. In addition the fittings, unlike metal components provide a high degree of corrosion resistance.

Philmac 3G CTS fittings are rated to 230psi to meet the needs of high pressure systems.
