Slide and Tighten
Incorporating all the benefits of Slide and Tighten technology - simply insert the liner into the pipe then insert the pipe until the first point of resistance is felt. Then tighten the nut until it butts against the flange of the fitting body.

Ease of Repair
There is no need for cumbersome equipment and no need to let the joint cure once repaired. Simply make the repair and as soon as the joint is completed the gas supply can be switched back on.

Visual Stop
The flange on the body of the Philmac PE gas fitting provides a visual stop to indicate when the nut is fully tightened. This removes any uncertainty from the installation process.

Strength of Connection
The Philmac PE Gas Compression fitting has been designed to ensure that the connection, when properly formed and when a liner is used, will exceed the strength of the PE pipe.

The Philmac PE Gas range provides connections for both Metric and Imperial sizes PE enabling connections to be made to most PE pipe in the market.

No Pipe Twist During Installation
The fitting has been designed to minimize pipe twist as the nut is tightened. Pipe twist can impact on not only the connection you have just made but also on the connection at the other end of the line.

No Loose Components
If the nut is loosened there is no danger of losing components, as the collet and seal are retained in the body of the fitting. Losing components in the trench becomes a thing of the past.
