By using plastic blow moulding technology the floats are lightweight and have no welded seam to potentially fail. Connection to the float valve lever is via a threaded cap which can be readily replaced is damage occurs. And the range now includes a 9½” (240) Turbo float.

Traditional metal
Philmac still offer traditional copper floats as they are available in larger sizes than plastic. Up to 10” (255) in size is available to suit larger float valves. Plus there is a complete range to suit hot water applications. In addition there are also 316 stainless floats to suit the stainless steel float valves.
